Frequently asked questions

How do I play?

Tap any group of two or more touching gummies of the same flavor to pop it β€” bigger groups score more. Pops make the board collapse, and clusters formed by the falling gummies pop themselves as chain combos. Clusters of 5, 6, or 7+ mint Star, Bomb, and Rainbow specials. Fill the Sugar meter and tap it for a board-sweeping Sugar Rush. You can replay the tutorial any time from Settings β†’ How to play.

How do I move a single gummy?

Press and hold a gummy to pick it up, then drag β€” the board slides open beneath it, and dropping it settles it into the gap. You earn one move per pop (see the pip under your level), so use it to set up something big.

What is that fuzzy monster eating my gummies?!

That's the Muncher. It wanders in occasionally to snack on your board. You can let it leave… or bop it three times to pop it, which pays you back for every stolen gummy and guarantees a chain-combo ride on the refill. Bopping is recommended.

I bought Remove Ads but I still see ads

Open Settings (the gear in the top-left) and tap Restore Purchases. Make sure you're signed in to the same Apple Account you bought it with. If ads still appear after restoring, email us β€” we'll get it sorted.

How do I restore my purchase on a new iPhone?

Install Gumdroplet, open Settings in the game, and tap Restore Purchases. The purchase follows your Apple Account, so there's nothing else to carry over.

Is there a way to reduce flashing or motion?

Yes β€” both. Settings has a Reduce flashing toggle (swaps bright full-screen flashes for soft glows) and a Reduce motion toggle (calms screen shake and big animations). There's also a Colorblind shapes option that adds a distinct shape to every gummy flavor.

Why is there no music?

On purpose! Gumdroplet is designed to be calm. Every sound β€” pops, crunches, sparkles β€” is synthesized by the game itself, and the mute switch silences everything.

Does the game need an internet connection?

No. The game plays fully offline. A connection is only used to load ads in the free version β€” offline, ads simply don't appear.

I found a bug / the game misbehaves

Email us with your iPhone model, iOS version, and what happened (a screen recording is gold). We take bugs personally.
